Meet other local writers for casual creativity and encouragement! Let's gather together and practice the ancient art of story telling. We will work from prompts, exercises, or whatever else inspires the muse in us. For those that wish, we will share what we have created for comments and advice.

I'm relatively new to Seattle and I would like to start up a group that collaborates and produces short films on a regular basis. More than just a networking or discussion group, I would like this to be an active group that produces work consistently. We share scripts and story ideas, vote on one to produce, and we do it. We pool our resources and we make movies - hopefully every other month. We can submit these movies to festivals or just screen them for ourselves for critique and discussion.

Welcome to Eastside Sci-Fi and Fantasy Writers. The Kitsap County Writers Group currently holds monthly meetings in north Bremerton (subject to change as we grow). The goal of the group is to be a source of encouragement, motivation, constructive criticism and learning for local writers. My name is Myrissa Yamashiro and I am the owner and operator of Anytime Fitness in Redmond Ridge. If you knew me 10 years ago - it would be hard to envision that my future would include owning a fitness club, becoming a certified personal trainer and helping others change their lives for the better. Who Is TCAD Seattle?  On May 23, Muhammad Yunus spoke at Seattle Town Hall and showed a trailer for a inspirational documentary he's in, called "To Catch A Dollar," due out in September.
