The PLUS is a pre-meeting, separate discussion of a book ( fiction or non-fiction ) chosen in advance by the group. Do you like to write? If yes, do you find it difficult to make time to sit down and write? This is a meetup group for people to get together and, well, write. The group (or whoever RSVPs) meets once a week. For 1-2 hours (or however long you can stay) we sit down and write quietly. An ongoing group of writers that meets every Monday night at a restaurant in White Plains. Two people submit every week and the group reviews their work and discusses it at the meeting. Meetings are usually two hours. A writer will on average submit once a month. Before being admitted to the group, we require a writing sample. Any representative work will be fine. It doesn't have to be long.
This is a workshop for a group of Long Island fiction writers, who get together once-a-month to critique each others work.
