At the meet-up one of the facilitators kicks things off by reading the first few paragraphs of the chosen story. The reader then pauses and the group discusses anything that feels pertinent in that moment with regard to the story or their experience of it. The facilitator will …
This is the meetup for you to get creative, and also to go out and enjoy literature events in London. There'll be an emphasis on Performance of Short Stories and Poetry, but we'll also explore other creative areas. If you have further ideas, let us know!
Basically it's about eating together and listening to storytellers between the courses. I mean, comedy style story-telling ! FAQ What are these stories about?...Well, it's complicated... They are about relationships, communication, deep aspirations and emotional trouble, about life !!! Sometimes they described directly our everyday life, more often they make use of symbolic language. You know, the language of dreams, the language of the depths of our souls, or psyche, where a king may stand for …

We're a group for London's creative writers to read their work and get constructive feedback in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. At our meetings we have six reading spaces per meeting. Taking a reading means you'll read your work for 10-15 minutes and then given critique/discussion from around the table. It sounds a lot scarier than it is, trust me! Most members are either working on short stories or a first novel but we welcome any creative writer seeking advice and encouragement. We end each ev …

The intention for this group is for those attending to do any of the following: discuss an idea for a Graphic Novel/Comic story, whether from an artist or a writer's perspective (or if you are doing both). The overall aim is for you to be able to get help, and not feel like you are on your own (which is what stops you making any progress). if you want, to provide sketches to show the general style. Others can critique this, give an initial reaction, and recommend changes. get into pairs or smal …
